Recommends changes to current sales techniques or procedures based on team performance and new selling techniques. Being a Sales Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in business. Typically reports to a manager. The Sales Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations for new projects
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Allocate office space according to needs
- Handle insurance plans and service contracts
- Keep financial and non-financial records
- Perform analysis and forecasting
- Keep inventory of all company assets/equipment
- Stay up to date on all services due on equipment
Required Education, Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience as facilities supervisor or relevant position
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
