Sales Support Director establishes the sales support process, develops an infrastructure of systems and tools, and directs support operations. Ensures that sales teams receive the tools and resources needed for smooth operations. Being a Sales Support Director monitors all sales activities to identify problems, create solutions, and produce accurate reporting. Develops and implements promotional events to increase sales volume. Additionally, Sales Support Director may provide oversight of sales incentive or commission programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Sales Support Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. We are looking for a strategic and thoughtful Part Time Director of Social Work to join our Special Services team within commuting distance of our schools in Rhode Island
Your Impact
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Social Work, our Part Time Director of Social Work is responsible for providing individual and group clinical supervision to the Rhode Island Social Workers in accordance with the Rhode Island licensing board’s regulations. They will also provide support to all Rhode Island school leaders regarding coaching guidance of their SWers and escalated socio-emotional crisis. Additionally, they will facilitate and support training on mandated reporting, de-escalation, attendance intervention, supporting the unhoused and identifying community resources.

All candidates for this position will support AF core values, lead innovation, and manage projects to ensure our Special Services team, like our schools, are setting a high bar in all areas and pursuing it relentlessly. Master’s degree in social work is required and experience in leadership and experience in a similarly fast-paced work environment.
Travel may be required to and among our schools and offices at various locations (New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). Candidates must be based in commuting distance to one of these regions. Please note this is not a fully remote role.

Achievement First sets salaries through a lens of equity, and based on the requisite skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. The salary for this position is $56.61 per hour with no flexibility.
