Sales Training Director oversees an organization's sales training programs to support an effective and motivated sales force. Conducts initial needs analysis to determine knowledge gaps and training needs. Being a Sales Training Director focuses on delivery and materials that provide effective, engaging, and results-driven training. Monitors participants' results and uses them to improve or enhance training and provide additional development programs. Additionally, Sales Training Director has strong knowledge and understanding of the organization's products, services, customers, competitors, and sales techniques. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Training Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Sales Training Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Description

    The Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) is to provide support to the Chief Operating Officer by assisting Project and Program Managers in the manages, plans, and directs all aspects of company projects with corresponding objectives and goals for each project reflected in an Integrated Master Schedule. The programs director develops goals and strategies for all contract projects and potential projects.

    • Directs and oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure required PMO IT programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.
    • Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
    • Manages a departmental sub-function, program management, within the broader operations departmental function.
    • Responsible for the mentorship, professional development, and performance of employees within the PMO department.
    • Develops the functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and assists in the development of budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
    • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
    • Develop and maintain policies, monitors, and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting for all contract work.
    • Certify project deliverables are distributed according to project plan’s milestones and timeline while in accordance with government deliverable guidelines.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Aviation Science, or other closely related field.
    • 15 Years of experience in project/program management managing large infrastructure projects and DOD contracts.
    • Project Management Certification, PMP, or equivalent.
    • Expert level of project management tools to include Microsoft Project Professional and Project Web Access.
