Being a Sanitizer prepares and handles sanitation chemicals and equipment. May require a high school diploma. Additionally, Sanitizer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sanitizer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Sanitizer typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. Scope of the Role
The Sanitizer performs the proper sanitizing and cleaning of processing and production equipment to maintain a sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Accurately and completely processes and handles animal feed and rework while complying with established Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
