NTL Biotech provides state-of-the-art molecular laboratory tests and related services in Midwest regions of the United States through our Central Laboratory Processing Center.

Biotech Manufacturing Assistant

• Assembly and Packaging: Manufacturing Assistants are responsible for assembly and/or packaging activities. This includes tasks such as loading machines, checking materials, pouching, kitting and inspecting different aspects of assembled devices.
• Following SOPs and GMPs: They follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure high-quality production.
• Laboratory Safety: Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols is essential.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to manufacturing processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and handling laboratory equipment.

• Troubleshoot new or existing product issues involving designs, materials or processes.
• Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve manufacturing processes or products to reduce costs, utilizing knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, materials and parts.
• Apply continuous improvement methods, such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost effectiveness.
• Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.

Job type: Part-time 30 hours/week

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Qualifications

· Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.

· Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis software preferred.

· Ability to adapt to new technologies used in molecular biological research and diagnostics.
