Search Engine Optimization Specialist jobs in New York
Search Engine Optimization Specialist monitors site-wide daily performance metrics and uses SEO tools and techniques to optimize site traffic, improve user experience, and increase conversions. Conducts keyword research, search behavior analyses, technical audits, and content gap analyses. Being a Search Engine Optimization Specialist utilizes website analytics and a variety of SEO tools to create reports, audits and dashboards to identify areas for optimization. Conducts competitive research and deploys the latest developments in SEO. Additionally, Search Engine Optimization Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Your typical day-to-day includes…
On-site content optimization and keyword research.
Staying up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and presenting them to the account team on a bi-monthly basis.
Implementing SEO tactics on client’s internal website (Wordpress, Divi).
Editing client's 3rd party websites (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Weebly, Wix & More).
Performing SEO audits of existing client's websites according to SEO best practices.
Advising a team of Digital Marketing Specialists on SEO best practices
Develop new & additional processes to improve our SEO product.
You’re probably perfect for this role if…
You are an SEO savvy machine!
You have experience with content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
You’re familiar with Google products & services (well, duh)
You have strong attention to detail and can effectively meet client expectations
You are an effective verbal and written communicator.
Extra points if…
1 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Knowledge of Local SEO Tactics and experience carrying out SEO campaigns.
