Hilltop Securities Inc., a member of the FINRA and SIPC, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings. Momentum Independent Network (MIN) is a brokerage firm, which provides a home for independent representatives. We offer and support a broad range of customer services, including self-directed IRA accounts, research recommendations, and trust and money management services. This position is located in the Dallas office.

HilltopSecurities is currently looking to hire a Commissions Analyst.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for reviewing financial account statements to post accurate trade and trail commissions in Broadridge Advisor Compensation Solutions (BRAC).
• Maintain data aggregators' access to verify account information.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts for research or to reconcile with GL.
• Perform and maintain reconciliation of debits and credits in the House Account against the GL.
• Research commissions with MF companies when a payment, statement, or transaction is missing.
• Report technical issues with BRAC through the BRAC JIRA system.
• Research commission questions on behalf of the reps.
• Review daily reports for restrictions or exceptions to make corrections if needed or notify OSJ of expired licenses for payment.
• Maintain financial records and statements files.
• Provide lead support and maintenance of accounts in BRAC.
• Communicate in writing with Mutual Fund companies to correct discrepancies with MIN representative information.
• Maintain products and mutual fund company data within BRAC.

Job Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to commute to Hilltop Securities Tower @ 717 Harwood Street, Dallas, without the need for relocation assistance.
• An associate degree in accounting or 3 years of equivalent bookkeeping experience
• Must know general accounting skills including account reconciliations, debits, and credits.
• Previous financial services industry experience desired
• Professional demeanor and effective business communication skills (both oral and written) with sharp punctuality.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook programs required.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
