Security Director implements overall security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Director implements staff training and operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Manages and maintains systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Director delivers education programs and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Participates in local, state, provincial, or federal working or advisory groups to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Leads and directs significant investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Possess a broad knowledge of law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Position Summary:
The Datacenter Security Operations Director leads a team of site security personnel, including site managers, field training officers, and security officers and is accountable for delivery of physical security related services. Daily presence in Dallas/Plano, Texas and frequent travel nationally to Northern Virginia, Santa Clara-California, and Hillsboro-Oregon is expected. The director is responsible for the leadership development of the people that report to them, while also accountable for security operations delivery at these datacenters. The director partners with Security and Datacenter Operations senior leadership and management teams to help drive operational effectiveness, superior performance, and audit readiness. Responsible for preserving an environment where people and property are safe and well-protected, the director utilizes their professional experience to manage people with varying skillsets and develops effective strategies to drive improvement. The director reports directly to the Vice President, Global Clients Datacenter Group, works alongside other site security managers in their metro area, and manages security team manager essential functions, including but not limited to those listed below.

This full-time W-2 position provides a starting annual salary range of $140,000 to $160,000, comprehensive benefits for both self and qualifying dependents, 401K with company matching, employee discounts, internal and external developmental opportunities, and more. Paid time off is also provided based on annual accrual and includes 10 vacations days, 4 floating holidays, sick days, and company holidays (including client-observed).
