Position: Armed Contract Security Officer
Schedule: Part Time (On-Call) with an opportunity for a full time position (32 or 40 hours)
Shift: Varies (0500-1300 / 1300-2100 / 2100-0500)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 21 years of age and US Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass an initial background check, drug test, and physical/fit for duty exam
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
All Security Officers assigned to FAA facilities must meet one (1) or more of the following requirements for experience:
1.Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years OR
2.Associate Degree in a related field plus one (1) year of experience OR
3.Three (3) years of military experience (active, reserve or National Guard either be currently serving or have been honorably discharged) OR
4.Successful completion of a State certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST)certification course OR
5.Possess a reasonable combination of one (1) through three (3)
