  • We are hiring a Manager/Senior Manager, Contract Administration, at our corporate HQ in Wyoming, MI. The indvidual in this role manages a team responsible for complex purchase and rebate agreements for our commercial customers, inlcuding:

    • analyzing price requests to ensure they meet both contractual and financial obligations
    • reviewing all price proposals and offers for accuracy
    • coordinating responses to RFPs, negotiating multi-year legal agreements, preparing and obtaining approval for product offer letters
    • maintaining all pricing information to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting

    The Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for identifying and managing process improvement opportunities to ensure accuracy, eliminate redundancies, and optimize the contract management system. Additionally, this individual is directly responsible for contract negotiation and management of select key accounts.

     Job duties:

    • Leads, motivates, and assesses performance of the contract management team
    • Recruits and trains staff responsible for coordinating responses to RFPs
    • Recruits and trains staff responsible for preparing draft and final purchase agreements, product offer letters, and other contractual documents through department and legal review processes to ensure contracts are completed accurately and on time
    • Monitors price, margin, sales, and other indicators against existing contracts and verifies financial impact of changes to ensure financial goals are met
    • Ensures contracts meet company standards by negotiating terms and conditions and reviewing contracts or revisions
    • Represents the company to customers throughout the contract and sales processes
    • Resolves issues to maintain customer satisfaction and Padagis’ reputation
    • Supports company Top Improvement Priorities

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline
    • 6 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, finance, or contract management
    • 3 years of supervisory or management experience
    • Knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical or similar industry, including the various channels of distribution, customer pricing, and purchase agreements
    • Ability to understand, interpret, and apply legal requirements in a variety of contractual relationships
    • Strong financial, technical, and analytical acumen
    • Ability to develop and manage professional staff
    • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong computer proficiency including within the Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment

     Preferred qualifications:

    • Master’s degree
    • Experience in a large pharmaceutical organization
