Smith’s is seeking experienced CCTV sewer video operators that are self motivated, positive, dependable and hard working to join our team. All work projects are around the Des Moines metro area so travel or overnights are not required. We are a busy, reputable and growing business that allows the opportunity of advancement for the right individuals. Camera operators are primarily responsible to video inspect newly installed sanitary and storm piping on new development sites. Ideal candidates should have experience working, operating and maintaining CCTV sewer equipment. PACP certification is a plus but not required. Candidates should be able to manage a small crew and be able to comprehend blueprints and sewer maps. Being able to communicate between city inspectors, construction personnel, and crew members is required. Candidates must be willing to cross train and be able to jet clean sewer pipe when needed. Applicants have a starting pay range from $28.00-$30.00 per hour based on prior work experience. We are a family focused company with no night or weekend work but this position does require overtime hours during the construction season to increase production and meet deadlines.
