THE JOB:

As a Seamer at the Bellagio, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the quality and visual appeal of the casino's textiles. Operating industrial sewing machines, you'll expertly repair, alter, and craft garments, linens, and other fabric items to ensure they meet the highest standards of durability, comfort, and style. Your dedication to excellence directly contributes to creating an exceptional guest experience at our renowned establishment.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $20.00/HR

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Meticulously fit, alter, and repair uniforms with precision and adherence to strict cleanliness guidelines, ensuring a polished and professional appearance for all staff members
• Proficient in expertly cutting various fabric types, executing precise pattern making, and demonstrating exceptional care in handling a diverse range of fabrics, ensuring impeccable craftsmanship and quality results
• Master various hand sewing techniques, including working with curved needles, adhesives, and specialized supplies, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure superior quality in every stitch
• Seamlessly sew on a wide array of fabrics, encompassing stretch fabrics, vinyl, and leather, showcasing versatility and expertise to meet diverse sewing needs with precision and finesse
• Provide on-site assistance with alterations in VIP guests' rooms, ensuring impeccable fit and satisfaction with personalized service

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has professional experience with industrial sewing machines, including blind stitching machines and serger machines
• Proficient in communicating effectively with executive-level and VIP guests through both written and spoken English

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Ability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
• At least 5 years of professional, industrial sewing experience
