May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment. Additionally, Sheetmetal Mechanic typically requires a high school diploma. Typically requires a Sheetmetal Apprenticeship. Auto Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of a post-secondary program in automotive service technology a plus.
ASE certification a bonus.

Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair.
Basic computer skills required.
Strong communication skills.
Must be mature, friendly and get along with coworkers and management.
Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
