JOB PURPOSE
To implement day-to-day operation of all Shipping/Receiving operations at Ascent Aviation Services.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting and reaching above shoulder level, crouching, kneeling, or balancing. Requires lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Telephone, facsimile and copy machine, computer terminal, forklifts, motorized vehicles.
Work Location: Stores, Tool Room, Shipping, Receiving, Aircraft Maintenance Hangar and Designated Outside Areas.
Protective Equipment Required: Protective footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves.
Potential Hazards: Exposure to high noise levels, occasional residual odors, extreme changes in temperature, materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.

SMS REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must possess knowledge of Aircraft Parts, Shop Supplies, Tooling, Inventory Control, and Computer Skills, to include basic knowledge of MS Office and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, such as IFS. Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. Independent Material Logistics coursework desired.
Experience: Three years previous Shipping/Receiving experience required.
Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
Other: May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
