### Duties
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
-Receive goods via varous delivery methods
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Unpack, label, and organize received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, boxing, using saw for wood in certain boxes.
-Maintain point of use inventory (boxes,staples, tape, labels, etc)
-Maintain absolute accuracy of all transactions.
-Perform various clerical duties required for the position (stock Kanban)
-Maintain a neat and organized area on a daily basis
- Ensure accuracy of shipping documents
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to ship and track inventory levels and update stock records
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipment or inventory issues
- Safely operate pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse
### Experience
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Ability to accurately perform basic math calculations for inventory management
- Proficient in picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes at an accurate and sometimes fast pace with heavy computer use - STARSHIP shipping system.
- Knowledge of proper packaging techniques to ensure safe transportation of goods
REQUIREMENTS
High school Diploma or equivalent
Able to lift items up to 50lbs using proper bending and lifting multiple times/day.
Moderate computer skills
Excellent attendance is a must!
