The Coal Shop is a stove and fireplace store located in Western NY. We are a top selling dealer for all of our brands, including: Hitzer, Keystoker, Reading, Leisure Line, and DS. We also sell Osburn, Timberwolf, Ventis Wood/Pellet Stoves, Hudson River, Osburn & Breckwell Pellet Stoves, PSG Wood Furnaces, and more! We also own and operate Lakeside Appliance, and the career would tie together with delivery and installation of kitchen and laundry appliances as well (i.e dishwashers, refrigerators, gas/electric ranges, washers and dryers).

We're looking for an installation and service technician to help us expand our service offerings in the area.

The job duties would include:

- Installing/ servicing/ cleaning wood, pellet, coal, gas stoves - furnaces- boilers

- Cleaning & inspecting chimneys

- Installing class-A stainless steel chimneys, lining masonry chimneys, and installing/repairing single wall, double wall, pellet, and gas venting.

- It's helpful if you're handy with carpentry and able to frame out, install units, and install stone veneer/mantels on zero clearance chased fireplaces.

- Duct work (furnace) and plumbing (boiler) experience helpful, but not necessary.

- Will also be required to do some sales, estimating work along with assisting with deliveries and showroom sales/support as needed.

- Delivery and installation of kitchen and laundry appliances

- Coal, Pellet, and landscape deliveries

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
