Six Sigma Quality Program Director plans, designs, and directs Six Sigma projects. Develops strategy and policies required to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Director employs Six Sigma/Lean methodology and analytics to re-engineer organizational operations. Works with other certified professionals in the planning, designing, and implementation of key projects. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Director coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Requires Six Sigma certification as Black Belt. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Six Sigma Quality Program Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.     Position Summary

    Responsible for driving the innovation process for assigned area(s) using Design Thinking methodology for both product extension and radical innovation. Partner with stakeholders, including but not limited to, Brand Managers, Innovation Team, R&D, Technology, Supply Chain, Plant and Trade Marketing.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Lead design thinking methodology through all phases, including but not limited to prototyping support, optimization and delivery; act as a liaison with Sigma Central Innovation
    • Manage innovation portfolio, ensure portfolio includes product extension and radical innovation and follow company objectives and guidelines
    • Develop and implement innovation reports and best practices; ensure innovation support business strategies and objectives in harmony with the Brand or Marketing Plan
    • Ensure key market data is gathered and analyzed; recommend innovation based on consumer insights; resolving consumer problems and/or unique product benefits
    • Design new concepts and product lines within Global Innovation Platform based on market data
    • Manage and evaluate innovation portfolio and pipeline; develop multi-year pipeline to support consumer needs and company objectives
    • Calculate, track and ensure reach Innovation KPI goal, including Innovation Rate, Innovation AOP compliance, successful launches, project per platform, projects per type and launches per type per platform
    • Manage and foster positive relationships with key customers; analyze customer needs and opportunities; determine which customers/sites to use a beta test location
    • Lead disruptive Innovation process, including but not limited to, participation in the Gestation of Disruptive Innovation, supporting the adoption, scale-up and incubation of Disruptive Innovation, ensures alignment of timing and implementation throughout the organization
    • Manage the strategic relationship with prototyping support vendors, agencies, including selection and negotiation of contracts; ensure vendors meet service level agreements
    • Provide leadership of team, talent attraction and retention, performance management; implement succession planning, development and promotion plans
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
    • Eight (8) years of progressive marketing innovation experience
    • Four (4) years of management / supervisory experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's Degree in Business Administration
    • Experience working with Innovation
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • Ability to lead business planning process with knowledge of P&L dynamics; proven project management skills
    • Proven experience with consumer insight development
    • Ability to identify complex problems, review information to collaborate and develop options then implement solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
    • Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to build professional relationships with cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment
    • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to produce quality vendor services
    • Proven project management skills
    • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge and understanding of business issues, priorities, goals, and strategy

    Physical Requirements

    • Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office

    COMPENSATION

    · Depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
