Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator jobs in Alabama
Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator manages the daily activities and coordinates the tasks of Six Sigma project teams. Utilizes guidelines, targets, and standards to monitor, measure and analyze results. Being a Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator guides and supports cross-functional teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator typically requires Green Belt certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Summary of Responsibilities
2nd shift - Project Manager
The Project Manager serves as a key leader, this position has responsibilities for the Operation and Logistical management of the defined area.
Accountable for the quality of our projects and productivity of our teams throughout the assigned regions.
Salary: $50,000 per year
Essential Job Function
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Plans the proper setup of new projects, including physical layout, material handling, and staffing
- Establishes and maintains close communication with customer contacts
- Implements and monitors project quality processes
- Develops new operational initiatives including the launch of new customers, locations and/or services
- Reviews projects for evidence that best practices are being implemented and applied effectively and understood at all levels
- Monitors profit margin and labor efficiency
- Trains and educates Project Supervisors on proper procedures and company policies
- Ensures all teams within the assigned region are operating according to company requirements
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required
- Five (5) years of direct manufacturing experience in a QS/ISO environment
- Two (2) years in a supervisory role
- Experience in handling customer and employee relations
- Available to work assigned hours based on business needs
