Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking Food Runners with experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant to join our team at The Foundry at Summit Pond and Charity's 1887 Saloon!

Food Runners are responsible for accurately delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables. You enjoy talking to people, have a customer-oriented approach, and have excellent communication skills. You are able to work quickly and efficiently, with attention to detail.

As the food runner, you are essential to setting up your team for success and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. This is a great position for someone who already has some restaurant experience and enjoys creating a memorable dining experience!

To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but we will train the right person!

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have previous experience as a Busser
• Have physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays
• Be able to anticipate guests’ needs
• Have the ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
• Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties
• Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn
• Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
