Slot Operations Manager manages and directs the daily operations of the slot department. Reviews electronic gaming device reports and adheres to federal cash reporting requirements. Being a Slot Operations Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Slot Operations Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. - Ultimate responsibility for the maintenance, repair, installation, removal and inventory of all gaming machines, slot machines, bases, chairs and parts for all of the casino.
- Promotes outstanding guest relations.
- Must be knowledgeable and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and internal control protocols.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma (or GED) and a minimum of a two year electronics technical training is required. (Associate’s Degree or equivalent in related field) and three (10) years of electronic experience.
- Ability to repair and maintain electronic gaming equipment.
- Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation required.
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Horse Racing License
