What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Communications Department. This position provides coordination and oversight of social media accounts, and develops strategies to cultivate new and existing communities using Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc. The Social Media Program also provides education and outreach to stakeholders, people receiving services, and the general public about Trillium programs including recovery, self-determination, community events, and activities related to MH/DD/SAS services and supports.
On a Typical Day, You Might- Schedule daily posts to all applicable social media outlets, according to a planned social media calendar.
- Coordinate the community and social marketing and events calendar with online activities.
- Track social media influence measurements and prepare monthly reports to update internal staff on usage statistics and analytics.
- Coordinate with Trillium staff to ensure consistency of messaging across social media sites and educates about proper protocol.
- Update Trillium’s social media protocol as necessary to remain current with industry standards and/or contractual obligations.

Minimum Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education: Concentration in Marketing to include; Social Media, Digital Advertising, Analytics, or Digital Communications preferred.
Minimum Experience- Associate’s degree and four (4) years’ experience using social media to promote business communications and/or marketing, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience using social media to promote business communications and/or marketing, OR
- Equivalent combination of education/experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.
