Social Media Strategist jobs in Iowa

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website for The Chris Nelson Company and Nelson Media Company. This is a full-time position.

Duties:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and our podcast, plus a new network
- Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with our brand voice and values
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback
- Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage social media advertising campaigns
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing

Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
- Strong understanding of digital advertising principles and experience running paid social media campaigns
- Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content
- Familiarity with public relations principles and strategies
- Photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media posts
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for editing graphics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills to stay informed about industry trends
