Typically reports to a director. The Social Work Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     This role will be Hybrid in Boulder, Colorado with occasional events and meetings on location in our offices in Boulder or Denver.


    We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Social Media Administrative Assistant with responsibilities spanning across social media and fundraising. As the Social Media Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies across various platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (formerly known as Twitter). Your duties will include creating engaging marketing collateral such as brochures and newsletters, ensuring a consistent brand voice, and managing online communities. In the area of Fundraising, you will identify potential donors, cultivate relationships, and execute annual fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making a positive impact.

    This role will require administrative duties from time to time such as: recovering mail from post office/scanning and filing, writing thank you notes, accessing admin logins and point of contact for MSFT products such as: Teams, SharePoint and Outlook (email, Contacts, Calendar, Task); and be the point of contact for technical support.

    Responsibilities:


    Social Media:

    • Leads content strategy across social media channels, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram and X. Develops and executes campaigns to promote firm initiatives and report on metrics. Ensures consistent brand voice across social media platforms.
    • Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
    • Manages the development of external electronic and print marketing communications materials including web pages, from inception to completion. Organizes and conducts kickoff meetings with all key participants.
    • Cultivate new communities and manage branded online communities on behalf of the company using Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other social media platforms.


    Fund-raising:

    • Identify major donor prospects, sponsor prospects, and corporate/foundation-giving prospects.
    • Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, major gift donors, and sponsors (to include meetings, phone calls, invitations to events, tours, etc.).
    • Develop and execute annual strategies for the Annual Fund Campaign (and any other yearly campaigns as needed).
    • Develop, oversee, and execute annual fundraising events and one-time fundraising events.


    Required Skills:

    • Microsoft 365 including but not limited to Outlook (Tasks, Contacts, Calendar & Email), Teams, SharePoint, Word (MailMerge), Excel, To Do, Planner, Project, and Visio
    • Adobe for Photo and Video Editor or equivalent

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in marketing, social media management, and event planning, preferably in the non-profit sector.
    • Strong knowledge of ALL social media platforms, trends, and analytics including Admin logins.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in fundraising or community building in a non-profit environment required.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented approach to work with strong project management skills to manage a wide array of tasks and responsibilities.
    • 5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant with a focus for social media and Microsoft Technical Support.
    • Experience with Wordpress


    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience with admin logins using the following: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Salesforce, and CRM databases.


    Preferred Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Military Veteran
    • Completed one of the following certifications: Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), Microsoft Office Specialist, Organizational Management (OM) Specialty Certificate, and Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE).
    • Completed one of the following LinkedIn Learning’s: Administrative Professional Tips, Administrative Professional Foundations, and Career Essentials in Administrative Assistance by MSFT and LinkedIn.
