The Spa at Merle Norman is a small business in Greenville, NC locally owned and operated for over 44 years. Touted as the getaway location for relaxation with nurturing spa treatments, spacious relaxation lounges, private locker with key, showers, steam bath, sauna, and calm, ambient atmosphere.

Spa Attendant

Duties:
- Greet and welcome spa guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with opening and closing the facility, depending on shift hours
- Assist guests with instructions or answering general questions about services
- Provide information about spa promotions, appointment times and guest attire recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa facilities, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and locker rooms
- Manage and report supply requests for inventory items such as bottled water and cleaning products as needed
- Wash, dry, fold and replenish towels, robes, and linens as needed
- Ensure the availability of clean and sanitized amenities for guest use
- Provide non-licensed spa treatments with tips received, following training including teeth whitening services and custom airbrush spray tans (paid on the job training provided)
- Collaborate with other spa staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of spa services and products is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Time management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.
- Reliable means of transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
