Water’s Edge Resort and Spa is accepting applications for our Banquet Supervisor position. We are seeking team members who are natural leaders with a passion to create memorable experiences for our guests.

The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet events under the direction of the Food and Beverage Management team, including setup, food service, and cleanup. They ensure that events run smoothly and meet or exceed guests’ expectations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BANQUET SUPERVISOR POSITION:

• Greet client and be available to the guest throughout the event to ensure all needs are met.
• Oversee serving and set up staff.
• Ensure the event space is clean and prepared on time.
• Be responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas.
• Communicate with culinary and housekeeping staff to ensure quality service is provided.
• Maintain service standards and procedures.  
• Assist with scheduling and training.
• Assist with inventory and equipment maintenance and care.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation.
• Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly.
• Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details per BEOs.

Qualifications

• Organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
• Has the stamina to handle prolonged periods of standing.
• Has the ability to perform moderately strenuous activities including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 30 lbs.
• 2 years of prior Banquet Supervisor or Captain experience preferred.
