    Position Summary :

    The College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University is an ACBSP accredited school that seeks candidates for a full-time MBA Success Coordinator.

    As Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Student Success Coordinator, the individual will collaborate with other university assets to assist MBA applicants, students, and alum with all university functions.

    This position is student-success focused from when a potential student inquires about the MBA, until they graduate and enter into alumni status.

    Additionally, they will develop, schedule, implement, assess, and market the MBA program in the College of Business (COB), as well as maintain records and documentation required for HLC and ACBSP Accreditations.

    The position will report to the Dean of the COB. This is a residential position starting in July 2024. VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.

    The college provides quality, student focused business education preparing individuals for professional careers, graduate studies, and lifelong learning.

    Requirements

    Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Assist MBA applicants complete the application process
    • Assist students in enrolling for courses and other administrative tasks to include course scheduling
    • Monitor enrollment
    • Monitor student progress
    • Track and assist MBA alumni
    • Create reports and maintain program documentation.
    • Oversee the maintenance and security of confidential records.
    • Assist with the recruitment and retention of students
    • Participate in the development of marketing strategies and promotional activities
    • Create, update, and / or maintain website information, letters, forms, social media and other materials
    • Participate in maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Complete required reporting documents for HLC, ACBSP, and other internal and external agencies.
    • Work in collaboration with COB Chair of the Graduate Counsel and Assessment Committee to develop effective strategies for academic assessment and accreditation of MBA program
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Job Requirements / Preferences :

    A Bachelor's Degree in a business related field (Master's Degree in a business related field preferred) from a regionally accredited university.

    Relevant work experience is preferred.

    Working Conditions

    Physical Demand and Working Conditions :

    • Work is performed during normal work hours but may require some evening or weekend hours.
    • Work is sedentary in nature and may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
