Specialty Pharmacy Technician jobs in Rhode Island
Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense high dollar/specialty medications (e.g. Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis). Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Specialty Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Additionally, Specialty Pharmacy Technician requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Specialty Pharmacy Technician typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

- Immediate start!
- One shift is 9:30am-6:00pm and one shift 1:30pm-10:00pm. Must be able to work 1 weekend day/week (will get 1 weekday off)
- LTC setting
- Possible temp to hire for the right fit (4 weeks to start)

Pharmacy Technician Requirements:- Prior pharmacy experience
- Active license in state of practice when required
- PTCB preferred
