Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care jobs in Minnesota
Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. - Current CPR certification
- A valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance when using a personal vehicle for company business.
- Have U.S. Citizenship or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.
- Ability to pass initial and ongoing background studies and screenings including but not limited to those of the Minnesota Department of - Health and the Federal Office of the Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals
