Total of 40 hours per week.

Pay: $68.79 p/h ($2751.60 per week)
The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $68.79/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $55.54/hr, along with a per diem of $13.25/hr.

Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants.
• Caring for the basic needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers.
• Performing medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, and administering medications.
• Assisting the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.
• Using and adjusting specialized medical equipment.
• Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments.
• Comforting ill newborns and anxious parents and family members.
• Offering support to parents and family members and educating them on the at-home care of their newborn.

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• 2 Professional references
• RN License
• ​ FLU & COVID VAX REQUIRED.
• Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients in collaboration with families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice.
• The Registered Nurse is expected to provide primary nursing care for patients and to assume responsibility for other nursing care processes by assessment, plan of care, intervention, and evaluation.
• Must be proficient in the English language.​
