Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops pediatric patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, outgoing person to add to our team. We are an established pediatric clinic on Bainbridge Island offering a position as a triager at our clinic. Our clinic is waiting for you to bring your smile and welcoming, calm energy as you answer phones for triaging patients, make appointments and attend to other office duties as needed.
Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 5:30pm. A set weekly schedule is preferred but cannot always be guaranteed and applicant must be flexible.
The perfect applicant will have pediatric triage experience. The applicant should have an excellent attitude, be reliable, have computer experience and a flexible schedule.
