What You'll Do
The Director, Y-12 Strategic and Site Planning responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for Scope/Schedule/Budget/Quality/Risk Management/Personnel of the Y-12 Strategic Planning organization
- Lead and integrate Y-12 Strategic Planning efforts
- Lead the development and implementation of Y-12 long-range, master plans with integration/coordination of company strategic planning efforts
- Provide integration and lead Y-12 participation in NNSA long-range and strategic planning efforts
- Manage the overall Y-12 Line-Item Program, including planning and integration throughout project life cycles
- Coordinate and lead site integration to ensure alignment of site activities, projects, physical site logistics, construction, and people/traffic flow is integrated and consistent with site master plans
- Present site planning items at Site Manager meetings
- Guide the planning and implementation of unique acquisition strategies including alternative financing, leasing, and purchase/lease-purchase

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience and a minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Supervisor/management experience may be obtained through a combination of directly supervising people and/or managing programs/projects that require leading diverse teams with job responsibilities including hiring personnel, giving performance feedback, personnel goal setting and/or mentoring/coaching
- Note: Will be reviewed for relevancy toward the management experience requirement
- OR Candidateswith high school diplomas may be considered on an exceptional basis if they have at least 20 yearsof relevant experience and 5 years of management experience
- Typically, each year of completed, college education is equal to two years of experience

- Demonstrated experience with NNSA
- Demonstrated understanding of Y-12 capabilities and operations
- Broad and thorough technical/functional and management knowledge and experience to accomplish organizational mission and CNS goals and objectives
- Progressive management experience integrating various functions that may have competing priorities
- Managingmulti-disciplines, integrating multi-functions in resolving cross-functional issues and/or problems
- In-depth knowledge of CNS business and operations support, resources, practices, processes, and policies to solve problems and accomplish work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with various customers
- Experience with the development and management of organization budgets
- Demonstrated skills in effective planning and organizing, communication, interpersonal, fiscal responsibility, and schedule compliance
- Supervisory or program management leadership experience related to supporting a manufacturing environment
- Operational, project, or program management experience

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
