Job Summary
With an aggressive growth strategy in the USA market, the Strategic Planning & Insights Manager role is pivotal to help the organization achieve the company’s revenue targets.
The Strategic Planning & Insights Manager will integrate demand, supply, and financial planning into a forward-thinking plan based on inputs from the organization’s key functional areas, including Sales (B2B & B2C), Marketing, Global Planning, Finance and Leadership. S&OP links strategic plans to operational plans and strives to develop the most beneficial product portfolio and product mix to maximize sales and profit. This role will lead the cross-functional participation and engagement across the organization to help achieve the company’s targets.
There are many required skills to be successful in the role. One of the most important is the ability to work across silos with people from different areas to communicate common goals, solicit information, and gain consensus and buy-in. The person in this role engages all levels of the organization and guides each functional area in understanding how it impacts the S&OP process. Earning respect from the team members and building trust is critical in breaking down silo walls.
Responsibilities
The Strategic Planning & Insights Manager is the subject matter expert for demand planning and capacity planning while supporting various projects including monthly demand plans, consumption models, network and production strategy optimization, integration of new businesses, and new product launches. This leader also facilitates each S&OP meeting to ensure the team is focused on the plan. The Strategic Planning & Insights Manager may also need to lead technical initiatives to improve data analysis such as implementing planning software.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required- Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics preferred.
Minimum Experience
8 years forecasting and/or planning experience required.
3 years’ experience in a CPG company required.
2 years’ experience managing a team to drive results required.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Market intelligence and analysis.
Strong aptitude for business math and numerical reasoning, and creative problem solving.
Adaptable/flexible – able to multitask.
