Additionally, Subrogation Specialist, Sr. develops cases resulting from beneficiary or provider-initiated inquiries, internal referrals, personal research, or computer-generated reports. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Subrogation Specialist, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Job Description As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for paying union and non-union hourly and salary employees across various pay schedules accurately and on time ensuring all payroll and accounting-related tasks are completed by due dates. Assist in creating and maintaining updated SOPs to adhere to policies and regulations. Manage complicated pay exceptions, bonus and incentive payments, retroactive payments, error resolution and complex problem solving for payroll, time management and financial reporting. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, compensation data and employee benefits information. Ensure integrity, consistency, and reliability with regards to information entered in the HRIS system. Generate various management reports monthly/quarterly e.g. headcount and turnover for Accounting and Plant Management. Process various remittances – garnishments, union dues, 401K contributions, group insurance invoices, etc. Provide banking details to MDM team for employee expense reimbursements. Assists Payroll Manager with year-end balancing and reporting. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; 10 years’ experience in an automated payroll environment with complex Payroll processes. Willingness to obtain CPP certification/designation. Workday Payroll experience highly preferred. Practical experience with Kronos time & attendance and third-party payroll systems required (ADP WFN preferred). Experience with Workday Payroll strongly desired. Knowledge of government legislation/regulations and benefit administration practices are required. Previous experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements strongly desired. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage confidential information.
