Responsibilities

As an Addiction Counselor, you will:

• Complete comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessments and develop appropriate services and support plan.
• Facilitate and effectively utilize evidence-based practices in group counseling settings.
• Communicate with family and/or support members on the progress of the patient and how they can play a role in the patient's recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all forms, assessments and file management paperwork as directed.
• Provide clinical services in coordination with the multi-disciplinary team
• Provide wraparound services with individuals for case management
• Represent Oregon Trail Recovery services to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge about services, processes, and participation.
• Manage a caseload
• Facilitate evidenced based curriculum groups from 4:30-6:30pm Mon, Tues, Thurs
• Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor to facilitate development of clinical competency and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Completed certificate/degree program in addiction counseling or equivalent.
• Current, active CADC-I or CADC-II

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of trauma informed practices
• Ability to use EMR system or ability to be trained.
• Must have good computer skills
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to function in a team setting, be flexible in attitude, and desire to work with individuals seeking recovery.
• Ability to understand and follow oral directions.
• Work with a diverse population

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
