Are you ready to take on a role directly impacting patients' lives? As the Associate Director of Supply Planning, you will be responsible for the Supply Planning and Scheduling functions at the Rockville Manufacturing Center (RMC). You will handle Supply Planning and Scheduling staff, ensure execution of Production Planning and Production Activity Control processes, and ensure successful execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This role reports directly to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain at RMC in cell therapy.

What you will do:

• Responsible for developing and implementing a Production Planning and Scheduling organization to support a commercial/clinical manufacturing facility and logistics center.

• Accountable for designing and agreeing to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by the Supply Chain Blue Print and Global Supply Planning standards.

• Responsible for coordinating manufacturing activities with all supporting functions at the site. 

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS (preferably a degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Operations Management, Industrial engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, or other Scientific fields).

• Minimum of seven (7) years of direct Supply Chain Planning experience with two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Planning specifically for Clinical trial materials, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceuticals.

• Minimum of three (3) years of previous people management experience.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of supply chain management techniques and material requirement planning.

• Able to work independently without appreciable direction.

• Identifies and effectively communicates complex problems and solutions.

• Ability to develop collaborative relationships and build effective teams.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.

• Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong SAP knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working in a cGMP environment.

• Experience with Lean- six sigma and other operational excellence methodologies.

• APICS certification.
