Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipmentExperience with positioning patients and x-ray equipment to achieve desired diagnostic imageKnowledge and experience with appropriate shielding protocolsPrepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and history, and provides treatment as applicablePerforms blood draws and administers medication injections and vaccines.Prepares exam/treatment rooms; select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for proceduresSelect length and intensity of radiation exposure on individual patient basis or to specification of examinationUse of CR and DR systemsExamine images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortionSend and store images Perform opening/closing clinic duties and patient call backsPerform other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or Limited Radiologic Technology Program required Certification/License: Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure.
