Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive jobs in Oklahoma

Norman Regional is excited to offer their patients plastic surgery services provided by a board-certified physician specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. This office will be located within the Journey Clinic at Norman Regional Health System. We are looking for an outstanding patient friendly person to come be a part of our small but mighty team that will focus on restoring not only physical appearance but also enhance the quality of life for patients. • Provides excellent service to patients and visitors and quality support to physicians and other clinic staff.
• Registers patients, verifies and enters accurate information, collects patient payments,  answers multiple phone lines, schedules appointments, and performs various clerical duties. 
• Must have 6 months experience in the healthcare field, excellent communication skills, some knowledge of Word and Outlook, good data entry skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
• Use of basic medical terminology and successful navigation of an electronic medical record are required for successful completion of essential functions of the role.

Experience

• One year clerical experience and six months healthcare experience are required.
• Prefer medical office, insurance, hospital or computer experience.
• Keyboard skills accurate 40 wpm. 
• Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills and computer applications is required.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Computer knowledge required. 
• Prefer additional education in medical terminology, electronic medical record training, or business classes.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).

Compensation/Benefits

• $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
