Surveillance Operations Manager manages and directs the surveillance department. Organizes routine random surveillances and audits surveillance as required. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     The Manager Surveillance Operations (the Manager) provides leadership and strategic planning to all facets of the Surveillance department. The Manager of Surveillance is responsible and accountable for the overall operation of the Surveillance Department, to meet all gaming regulations and protect company assets.



    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • As an Enterprise leader, displays at all times a professional, upbeat, and positive attitude.
    • Applies positive communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with management and co-workers at all times;
    • Develops and manages the budget for Surveillance.
    • Designs and assist in the installs of CCTV and alarm systems.
    • Implements procedures for the department.
    • Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment.
    • Delegates authority and assign responsibilities.
    • Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
    • Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the Surveillance Department, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating employees, as needed.
    • Correspond with necessary casino management to ensure compliance with all required regulations.
    • Perform all duties of the Surveillance Officer when necessary.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to work anytime including evening, weekends and holidays;
    • Extended working hours, shift work, and ability to provide shift coverage as needed.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Manual hand dexterity for operation of cameras, computers, and completing paperwork
    • Successfully complete/ pass pre-employment drug screening and Background Clearance.
    • Meet and maintain licensing standards/guidelines to qualify for a key gaming license.
    • Possession of a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


    High School Diploma and/or equivalent (required) AND 6 months experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Gaming experience preferred.

    Management experience preferred.

    • Full operating knowledge of the Surveillance System;
    • Ability to participate in gaming related seminars and/or workshops;
    • Ability to handle confidential information and material.
    • Able to sit and observe for long periods.
    • Ability to learn new systems and processes.
    • Ability to be a team player;
    • Ability to adapt in a fast moving and multi-faceted work environment;
    • Above average knowledge of gaming scams and cheat techniques;
    • Ability to motivate and guide Surveillance personnel
    • General computer/keyboarding skills.
    • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and multitasking ability.



    LANGUAGE SKILLS:


    Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and regulations. Ability to generate well written reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in a courteous manner to customers and employees.



    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:


    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


    REASONING ABILITY:


    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with issues, while maintaining a calm professional bearing.



    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


    Ability to be in a sedentary position for long periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb stairs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.



    WORK ENVIRONMENT:


    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky
