IDS is seeking Construction Surveillance Technicians (CST) to support a construction security effort. This role will be based in Bahrain and is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities : CSTs monitor, observe, and interact with the construction workers as they accomplish their various tasks to preclude the introduction of electronic, electrical, mechanical, or any other type of hostile surveillance monitoring devices into finished construction.
Required Qualifications : Active Top Secret clearance Successful completion of the Department of State Office (DoS), Office of Overseas Building (OBO) SE630 training 10 years of experience, or hands-on supervisory construction experience, in at least one of the following areas of expertise : Construction security surveillance Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Industrial or Government security involving counterintelligence Construction quality assurance 3 years of experience performing as a Lead CST Knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance Knowledge of all construction disciplines, to include civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles.
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and / or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
