    Job Description

    People Operations/Administration Intern

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic high school student to participate in our People Operations Internship program. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in various aspects of People Operations (PO) and provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a professional environment. This intern will report to the Manager of People Operations and receive guidance from other PO team members. 


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide general administrative support to the PO team, including filing, data entry, and organizing documents. 
    • Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing welcome materials and collecting onboarding documents as needed.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Contribute to PO projects and initiatives for employee events and activities while promoting team building, morale, and enhancing the employee experience.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing outgoing mail.
    • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and safe for employees and visitors.
    • Maintain office and kitchen supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders.
    • Participate as an active member of Foundation 1781.

    As part of the internship experience, participation and attendance for after-hours and weekend events is expected.
     

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in high school.
    • Strong interest in learning business operations and etiquette 
    • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Beginner in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
