Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Engineering Supervisor to support the Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS), Post Production Software Support (PPSS), Maintenance, and Sustainment for multiple programs of record, software systems, and Software Development Networks (SDN) for the Software Engineering Center (SEC) of the Fires Division located at Fort Sill, OK. The Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM); SEC; Command, Control, Communications Tactical (C3T); Fires Division (FD) provides lifecycle software solutions, management, and support for Fires Systems Platforms that provide Warfighting superiority through information dominance across the battlefield.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide planning, direction and coordination of activities for technical personnel providing life cycle software engineering support.
• Perform software engineering techniques such as design languages, structure programming, configuration control, quality assurance, top-down programing, and more.
• Provide technical requirements understanding for software support and develop and maintain realistic work plans, schedules, and controls to establish effective software support.
• Review and evaluate the technical work of subordinates
• The Engineering Supervisor must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in a similar position with at least a masters degree preferably in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
• Must meet DoDD 8140.01 cyber workforce management advanced cyberspace workforce foundational qualification requirements.
• Must be capable of planning, directing, and coordinating the activity of technical personnel involved in providing life cycle software engineering support of military computer software systems.
• Must be experienced and trained in state-of-the-art software engineering techniques such as design languages, structure programming, configuration control, quality assurance, top-down programming, etc.
• Must have the ability to understand the technical requirements for software support and be able to develop and maintain realistic work plans, schedules, and controls to establish effective software support of both fielded software and support software of computer-based systems.
• Must have technical expertise to review and evaluate the technical work performed by subordinates.

Clearance:  Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.

Location:  Fort Sill, OK

Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
