Position Summary
Americare is
seeking a strategic Director of Talent Acquisition to attract the best and
brightest talent for our company. This is a pivotal role because our employees
are the key to our success, serving our cherished residents. You will
collaborate closely with the Chief People Officer and other leaders to
understand staffing needs and develop innovative and best in class recruitment
strategies to achieve our hiring objectives. Your strategic thinking, strong
understanding of talent acquisition methodologies, analytics, systems, and
exceptional communications skills will be integral to creating a positive
experience for candidates and everyone involved in the talent acquisition
process. This leader serves as an internal advisor and business partner to leaders,
making recommendations to promote Americare’s mission and business strategies.
Alongside these responsibilities, they will lead, mentor and develop the Talent
Acquisition team, fostering a positive and team-centric environment where team
members are invested in and can realize their full potential.
Strategic Business Partnerships
- Closely
partner with senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and peers
to proactively understand business and hiring needs, workforce planning,
talent requirements, and manage talent acquisition efforts to support
short and long-term organizational objectives.
- Establish
relationships with passive candidates, universities, technical schools,
industry groups, and government agencies in accordance with all applicable
laws, regulations, and Americare standards.
- Partner
with and leverage external job board service providers to drive results
(e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, YouTube, community postings, notifications to
local schools, etc.).
- Consult
and provide input to employer branding decisions with both internal and
external partners, ensuring Americare’s employer profile and related
assets are represented according to branding guideline standards in the
Talent Acquisition process, profiles, and materials.
Key Subject Matter Expertise
- Participate
in strategic planning sessions and ensure talent acquisition initiatives
are aligned and focused on delivering organizational goals.
- Model
leadership and champion change initiatives that improve recruiting
companywide, including establishing leading practices with process,
leveraging and improving upon the technology infrastructure, and building
sound cases for change.
- Lead
the design and implementation of innovative, results-driven strategies
within the team and area to achieve impactful recruitment and hiring
outcomes for exceptional candidates.
- Stay
abreast of high-volume recruitment research, sourcing, talent acquisition
tools and best practices to stay current with market innovations and
competitive trends/threats.
- Oversee
complex projects while balancing the daily operational issues that need to
be solved.
- Develop
and manage Talent Acquisition budget plan and related reporting.
- Coach
regional and community-level hiring managers on effective screening and
selection techniques.
- Represent
the company professionally and effectively at job fairs/professional
events/on-site hiring events.
- Exhibit
excellent customer service and a ositive attitude.
- Completes
all other duties as assigned.
Talent Analytics
- Track and maintain talent metrics, team productivity, market
trends, competitive wage insights, reporting, and analysis to realize the most
efficient processes while providing regular reports and insight to leadership.
- Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions to
continuously monitor and improve the recruitment process efficacy and
experiences.
Talent Acquisition Team Leadership and
Development
- Lead a team of talent acquisition professionals
providing coaching, performance feedback, and identify development
opportunities to stretch team members and increase their skills and
professional growth.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff regarding
employment policies and best practices.
- Cultivate a positive and motivating work
environment by implementing strategies that boost employee morale, engagement,
and productivity.
- Partner, influence, and serve as subject matter
expert to advise recruiters on talent acquisition strategies, plans, and
practices to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.
- Foster open, t ransparent
communication channels within the team, ensuring that staff are well-informed
about team goals, achievements, and challenges, enhancing their sense of
belonging and purpose.

relationships: Regional Vice President of Assisted Living, Regional
Directors, Peers – Leaders of Human Resources, Employee Safety and
Wellness, Talent and Organizational Development; Executive Leadership Team
as needed.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills
- Proven
track record supporting the area/function the individual will support and
manage.
- Strong
track record of successfully meeting talent hiring goals and utilizing
data driven techniques to develop and implement strategies and process
improvements.
- History
of innovative and data driven talent acquisition solutions.
- Exceptional
relationship building skills, both within the organization and external
partners.
- Proven
history of developing and executing proactive recruitment strategies.
- Data
driven mindset with the ability analyze data and information and drive
continuous improvement.
- Possesses
good organizational/time management skills and the ability to manage
multiple tasks.
- Strong
negotiation skills.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, Indeed,
and other job boards.
Education
Bachelor's
degree in human resources or in a related field OR documented evidence of
equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviors.
Minimum Experience: - A
minimum of three-five years of full lifecycle talent acquisition
experience, including two years of leading projects or initiatives,
preferably with ATS selection and implementation experience.
- Two or
more years’ experience recruiting within the healthcare sector.
- Three
or more years sourcing experience (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Three
or more years talent acquisition team leadership experience and
participation in/leadership of cross-functional teams required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in long term care settings preferred.
- Recruiter certification (PRC, CIR, CSSR, CDR, CSMR, etc.) preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Hours
can vary depending on coverage and demand.
Travel
Average 30% travel.This position is work from home with business travel
required to lead/attend business meetings, conferences, conduct partnership
and/or school visits, and visit our communities in our 5-state market.
Physical Demands
The physical
demands of this position include: Standing, sitting, walking, changing of
position, reaching, extending hands & arms, reach across midline,
crouching, balancing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting or carrying 35lbs
& push and pull 100 lbs.

Safety Equipment
• It is
mandatory to follow safety policies and procedures including use carts when

operating a motor vehicle.
• Mandatory
reporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor with
participation in required documentation.
