Overview

We are a public accounting firm located in Virginia Beach seeking a full-time tax professional. Our firm is focused on providing tax and accounting services to closely held businesses and the associated principals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses with an emphasis on business returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to professionally correspond with clients daily.
• Assist with tax notice resolutions.
• Assist with tax planning and the preparation of projections.
• Conduct tax research, as needed, using firm provided research materials.
• Assist with firm's accounting and attestation work, as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Two years tax experience in public accounting
• Candidate will need strong skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with CCH ProSystemFx or CCH Axcess Tax is a plus.
• Experience with CCH Engagement and CCH Planning is also a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
