POSITION: Enrollment Services Assistant

LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a 12-month, full-time, benefitted position.

BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include managing on campus recruiting activities that take place throughout the year. Work with prospective students and family members in activities such as tours, Preview Days and other campus events. This position works closely with helping to direct and mentor our student Royal Ambassador program. This role will also assist Student Services staff with admission and enrollment management functions, receiving and process applications for admission, preparing student files, providing help to students with admissions and assist the financial aid department. This position involves some travel and outreach for various recruitment activities as needed.

Minimum qualifications include ability to present to multiple audience groups, build solid relationships with key constituents, possess technology and multi-media skills to incorporate into recruitment and marketing activities, excellent writing and speaking skills, excellent keyboard and data management, expertise in Microsoft Office, good organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and knowledge of Lake Region State College. Position requires some travel during the academic year and ability to work some evenings, weekends, and early mornings. Associates degree or 2 years related experience. Valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of Peoplesoft/Oracle and Hobson’s products.
