Job Description:

Pratt Burnerd America, an industry leader in workholding, is looking for a technical sales representative to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will be able field technical calls and assist with technical issues. Strong background in math is a must.

Responsibilities including but not limited to

· Field technical calls and assist customers with technical issues.

· Assist sales department with technical assistance.

· Oversee the evaluation, repair and calibration of lathe chucks, chucking cylinders and other components.

· Quote repairs and contact customers.

· Assist in engineering of new products and designs.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent as well as vocational training is a plus.

· Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders, mills, saw, drill press, manual and cnc etc.) is a plus

· Ability to use precision tools (e.g. micrometer, calipers) to take accurate measurements

· Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material

· Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

· Good at math with analytical abilities

Schedule

· Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5pm. Friday 8-4:30
