Company Overview:

GTN is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist for our client's fulfillment centers in Groveport, Ohio. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Facilities, this onsite role involves maintaining and troubleshooting IT issues for picking, packing, and receiving stations, along with supporting local office IT needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Support: Maintain and troubleshoot IT issues for fulfillment center operations, including picking, packing, and receiving stations.
• Ticket Management: Work closely with fulfillment center operations to support tickets for internal operational readiness.
• Inventory Oversight: Manage all IT inventory at the facility.
• Escalation: Raise critical issues to the Tier 2 Support team and advocate for operational needs.
• Printer Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot paper and label printers.
• Remote Support: Provide eyes and hands for the remote network team.
• Equipment Rollout: Deploy new IT equipment (computers, printers, scanners, scales, peripherals) as needed.
• Cyber Security: Follow guidelines set by the cyber security department and other internal controls.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs safely, repeatedly throughout the day; ability to get on lifts or ladders.
• Holiday Work: Willingness to work all major US holidays except Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as technical support in an eCommerce environment, warehouse, or 3PL location.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for 95% of the scheduled shift.
• Height Tolerance: Comfortable with heights and using lifts or ladders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot IT issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with fulfillment center operations and remote teams.
• Proactive and able to raise awareness of critical issues effectively.
• Strong adherence to cyber security guidelines and internal controls.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and working at heights.
