Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Fellow Trainer Engineer (Part-Time) opportunity located at the Savannah River Site.

Fellow Trainer Engineer (Part-Time) -
The Fellow Engineer-Trainer will provide staff augmentation in support of training in the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) of assigned instructional programs in accordance with approved Training Program Descriptions and Training Plans.
Responsibilities- Attend training to quality for SME/instructor status on one or more courses.
- Review and provide input for course and exam improvements.
- Grade course exams and provide feedback for students.
- Provide instruction for specified engineering courses to engineers to include but not limited to: Conduct of Operations for Engineers; Use of Engineering Standards; SmartPlant Foundation (SPF)/E7; Nuclear Science & Criticality Controls; Asset Suite; Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow & Thermodynamics; Process Instrumentation; Process Controls; Safety Basis/CHAP/Functional Classification/Emergency Management; Mechanical Components, Drawings, & Documents.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, nuclear, chemical, computer science, computer related, etc.) OR a minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience in Engineering Operations or a Technical capacity in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in an engineering role as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Familiarity with engineering manuals, procedures, standards, and engineering programs.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to provide engineering course instruction and mentoring experience of engineers to gain engineering judgement.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Previous SRS experience
- Familiarity with engineering documents at SRS.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Attend and qualify for Subject Matter Expert/Instructor status on numerous engineering training topics.
- Ability to develop/deliver engaging technical classroom training.
