Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Procedure Writer opportunity in Amarillo, TX at the Pantex Plant.
Clearance: Active DOE L or Q (or DOD Secret of Top-Secret) security clearance preferred. Uncleared candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required
Responsibilities- Procedure Writers develop new, revised, or modified procedures that enable personnel to safely and correctly perform tasks associated with preventive maintenance procedures.
- The writer is responsible for complying with work instructions and relevant handbooks.
- Writers prepare & coordinate procedure reviews and comment resolution.
- The Writer implements hazard controls, captures quality and performance data, and ensures that the procedure can be performed as written through verification and validation.
- BA/BS Degree with 5-20 years of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 5-20 years of experience.
- In addition, a minimum of 5 years' experience writing procedures in a commercial or Weapons Complex facility.
