INDOT is undertaking a multi-million-dollar, multi-year digital transformation and IT systems modernization effort that will impact thousands of employees and contractor partners associated with INDOT. With transformation and modernization comes a lot of change change to the way current processes are done, changes to who does what, and when. And much of this change will involve new business processes, and new or re-configured systems and business user-interfaces. This will mean a new way of doing things for everyone.
This role will ensure our digital transformation IT projects meet objectives on time, with the right resources, and on budget by leading the development of employee training, increasing employee adoption and usage of enterprise systems, and ensuring new / revised processes are implemented to provide maximum benefit with as minimal impact on day-to-day operations as possible.
The primary responsibility will be collaborating with the INDOT Digital Transformation and IT team, INDOT s business units, and other third-party vendor(s) that will be providing change management and communications expertise, to create and implement new IT training protocols that will help drive adoption and adherence to IT systems and business processes, and to provide tactical project support that will ensure sustained learning of new systems or enhancements to existing systems, user guides, train-the-trainer events, etc.
Supervision
This position is part of the INDOT Digital Transformation Project Management Office (PMO). While this role does not have direct INDOT employee supervisory responsibility, this person will be responsible for leading the PMO s business user training strategy and tactics.
This position will have to work collaboratively with many others in the organization to succeed. This role will act as a coach for our business analysts and engagement managers w/r/t business user training needs. This role may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
