We are seeking a skilled OSP Cable Technician to join our team. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of telecommunication cables and systems.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems including fiber optics, and low voltage cabling
- Perform equipment repair and troubleshoot issues with cabling systems
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters for testing and diagnosing cable issues
- Conduct fiber splicing for network connections
- Work on WAN (Wide Area Network) installations
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cable installation and maintenance preferred
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage cabling systems
- Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
